CARITAS
Design for Religion
I was personally asked by a staffer from The University Catholic Church to design a shirt for their service retreat, Caritas 2025. I designed a religious, gender-inclusive, shirt. My intent with this assignment was to create a simple design that communicated the retreat's message. Love through service.
Challenge:
Create a design that translates the retreat's message while also incorporating religious elements and gender-inclusiveness
Graphic, and Merchandise Design
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Procreate
Solution:
Design a simplistic design that doesn't leave room for gender association and directly communicates the retreat's message
FINAL RESULT
This was the finished design that I designed for Caritas 2025.
I had suggested #4D7684 as the shirt's color to compliment the white and yellow of the design, but the team leader decided on a color closer to #42AFD1.
This last minute decision resulted in a disturbance between colors.
Below you will see the inteded colors for the design.
